The St. Mary’s College of Tagum Inc was chosen as the pilot school for the conduct of the National Simultaneous Drill (NESD) on February 21, 2019 at exactly 2:00 PM. The drill was thoroughly observed and evaluated by a team coming from the Philippine National Police, Army Reserve Command (ARESCOM), Tagum City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office and Bureau of Fire. Administrators, faculty and students performed the evacuation drill procedures such as the “duck, cover and hold” position during an actual earthquake scenario. A post evaluation was conducted after the earthquake drill commenced.
