December 16, 2017, this year, the St. Mary’s College of Tagum community opened the school to some of Tagum’s poor families in a half day reach-out activity. The activity was held at the school Gym and was facilitated by the different college programs of the school, college students and non-teaching personnel. Each program is responsible to give the families a meaningful Christmas celebration. The different families got to enjoy some fun games, listen to reflections and significant lectures. The children of the families were given health care sessions provided by the Nursing Program. Aside from the beneficial gifts from the generous hearts of the SMCT Students and Personnel, the families enjoyed sharing lunch with the SMCT community. Indeed, the heart of Venerable Ignacia Del Espiritu Santo is manifested whenever the SMCT community shares.
