College Department: 2013 Parents' General Assembly Held
St. Mary's College of Tagum, Incorporated College Department has conducted its first Parents-Faculty General Assembly last July 21, 2013, morning at the Venerable Ignacia Multi-Purpose Hall (VIMPH).
The gathering started off with a Para-Liturgy led by Mr. Jovenal F. Lor, MA, the Theology/Christian Formation Coordinator and subsequently which was followed by the singing of the national anthem conducted by Mrs. Diza M. Rolida, MA, a member of the College Department Faculty.
After the preliminaries, the School President as well as the Dean of College, Sister Maria Niña C. Balbas of the Religious of the Virgin Mary congregation gave her welcome remarks and introduced her fellow RVM sisters, the Administrative Council, The Program Heads and the members of the College Faculty.
Following the School President's speech,CHSDA Vice President Mrs. Maria Victoria Tabique, MA took over the delivery of the CHSDA President Flordeliza A. Zulueta's report due to the absence of the latter for an out of town business trip.
Each of the programs held their own meetings simultaneously in different areas where they held the election of respective program officers and discussed various topics such as the grading system, school activities, course requirements, and the administration policies.
The general assembly was successfully concluded after a few questions and concerns were answered and explained smoothly by the teachers.
