Two research entries from the Teacher Education Program of St. Maryโs College of Tagum, Inc. (SMCTI) represented the institution in the ๐ฃ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐ต๐ฒ๐น๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ป ๐ข๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฏ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ (๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐). With a total of at least 22 participating schools across the region, SMCTI earned distinction in both the oral and poster presentation categories.
In the Oral Presentation Category, the research of Sotelo et al. titled โ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐โ๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โ was selected as one of the Top 5 Qualified Participants. The study, under the guidance of ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐๐, stood out for its theoretical foundation and in-depth analysis, earning the award for ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ โ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ. In the Poster Presentation Category, the research of Cruda et al. titled โ๐จ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ป๐ฝ ๐บ๐๐๐๐โ was recognized as one of the Top 11 Qualified Participants, showcasing the groupโs critical examination of language and humor in media. The study was mentored by Dr. Iris Billones, LPT, with Ms. Ivy Cruda serving as the official presenter.
The achievement was made possible through the support of YLO 4 Adviser, Maโam Dinah Nival, LPT, MAED, together with Teacher Education faculty members Sir Bryan Gasoc, LPT and Maโam Christine Dianne Magbanua, LPT, MAED, whose guidance strengthened the studentsโ research endeavors.
