Manila โ The Management Council of St. Maryโs College of Tagum, Inc. (SMCTI) is actively participating in the 2025 Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) National Convention, held from September 30 to October 3, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Manila, with the theme โLiving Synodality as Pilgrims of Hope.โ

The first two days of the convention featured meaningful celebrations and inspiring sessions. Day 1 opened with the Eucharistic Mass presided by H.E. Jose F. Cardinal Advincula, Jr., followed by the formal opening program, highlighted by an intermission performance from the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra. This also included the keynote address of H. Em. Luis Antonio G. Cardinal Tagle, D.D., and Day 2 expands learning through concurrent sessions on youth leadership, parent-school partnerships, and truth-telling in social media.
The convention will continue with Day 3 programs, which will highlight more sessions, reflection activities, and recognition ceremonies for outstanding Catholic educators. The gathering will formally close on October 3 with a Eucharistic Celebration led by Most Rev. Charles John Brown, D.D., Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines.
